INTRODUCING
Greetings! We are a couple working in academic professions who would like to swap homes. We´d like to visit Italy, Austria, Switzerland or France but we´re open to any good suggestions!
About Our Home
Small beautiful scandinavian apartment with balcony on 7th floor with a great view all the way to Helsinki and the sea. The place is ideal for people who like to take long walks in the forest or visit the beautiful archipelago. The apartment is rented to end of May and therefore we can't show pictures of the interior before 1.6.

Our Location
Forest with great walking paths just outside the apartment, great for recreation. The waterbus ie. boat (2-3 kms from flat) takes you to the archipelago for the price of an ordinary bus ticket! Gåsgrund and Knappeskär are popular islands for camping and picnic, and the scenery makes them perennial favorites for a wide variety of people. The island has stunning scenery from its low rocky terrain to its lush meadows and charming woodland. Gåsgrund has also good services including cooking spots and places for small fires. The island is connected to the mainland by regular boat traffic. If you’d like to visit the capital Helsinki, buses go every 10-15 minutes near our apartment. The ride to Helsinki takes 15-20 minutes. In Helsinki you can visit art and design museums and galleries, listen to classical music concerts, visit the opera (english subtexts), visit the famous Church built in granite rock (services also in English), The Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral, go to the market place and taste Finnish specialities etc. We'd be glad to help you find activities of your interest in the area. You can also visit for eg. Rauma (3 hours away) which is a very beautiful wooden old village or Tallinn/Estonia (a few hours by boat).
