INTRODUCING
We are an English/Scottish family of 5 , living near Rome, Italy. Our house is unusual for Rome, being in a green and quiet suburban area, 5 km to the meditteranean, and with a big (for Rome) garden. Shops and 50 metre swimming pool are within 400metres, and Rome is 30-45 mins by public transport. We have an above ground pool, which helps for cooling off in summer. The house has 4 bedrooms, balcony, but no air conditioning. Some may find it hot in summer -we just eat outside until it cools off. The sea breezes mean it is hot as hot as in centre of Rome. We are most interested in swaps in period Mid July-end of August, possibly at Christmas/New Year. Canada, Aus and New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia and cooler parts of Europe -we are open to discuss options and ideas! We support and lead a small fellowship in Rome for English speaking families, which has links to Rome Baptist and All Saints Anglican Church.
About Our Home
Spacious (circa 200 m2) , in established 1000 metre garden in one of Rome's most famous suburbs, far from the noise and an oasis of calm and colour. Family friendly, being the home of 3 kids from 12 to 18, with table tennis, above ground pool, trampoline. We also have a very friendly dog called Nala, who would enjoy your company!

Our Location
In very quiet area but only 400 metres to shops and 50 metre swimming pool. Beaches 5 km, Rome 25 km , good public transport links (but takes 30-45 mins). Visitors love it here - you can enjoy the sea,sun and peace and all the history of Rome all in the same day.

Other Comments
A car is recommended, although it is possible to survive on public transport in Rome, there is so much outside of Rome to see - within 90 minutes are 2000 metre+ mountains, ancient towns, beautiful coastal scenery. A recent addition to our house is our lovely dog Nala, we think she is part German Shephard, Labrador and Golden Retriever.
