INTRODUCING
Hi, my name is Glenn and I am originally from Australia and now living in Denmark with my beautiful wife Lone and our wonderful children Phillip (6) and Annabelle (3). Being from Australia we are always looking to travel back to Sydney for a holiday to see the family for the kids to visit Nanna and Poppy.
About Our Home
We offer a bright, spacious apartment in Osterbro, one of Copenhagen most popular residential areas. Osterbro is 5 mins from the city centre, the little mermaid, and is the home of Copenhagens exclusive designer boutiques, delis, cafes and fine restaurants. Our apartment is located next to Sortedams Lake, a popular choice for a stroll, jog and or sitting at one of the cafes people watching. Our apartment home contains a modern kitchen that opens onto our bright living room. We have two large bedrooms with a queens size bed in the master bedroom, and bunk beds in our childrens room. The childrens room has plenty of room for playing and our apartment has many books in English and Danish, wireless internet, cable TV, oven, fridge, dishwasher, other kitchen equipment and washing machine. We offer room for 4 persons and could provide an extra mattress if needed. Our shared courtyard is one of the largest in Copenhagen, and is perfect for relaxing in the sun or enjoying as summer bbq. Our Location
Our apartment is an ideal base for exploring Copenhagen. You will be staying in an attractive, fashionable part of the city with peace and quiet as well as trendy charm and busy city life. We have great shopping, little squares with outdoor cafes and several fine restaurants in the area. The heart of Copenhagen is a short 5 min bus ride or enjoy a 10 min picturesque walk though the botanic gardens and Kings Garden to the city centre. Østerbro is a popular part of Copenhagen; close to the many cultural attractions of the city and the lakes - while offering in itself everything you need. You are close to the sea (the little mermaid) and the wonderful castles of Northern Sealand can be easily reached by train/car. Cultural attractions can be found within any distance - whether you are walking, riding a bike or using bus, train or car. We are Glenn and Lone, a married couple with two wonderful children (3 and 6). We are both professionals (Head of Financial Planning and Clinical Dietician). I am originally from Australia and my wife is Danish. We have travelled extensively before having children and are now ready to start travelling again.
