INTRODUCING
Hello, we are Ann and John. We are originally from England, but now live in lovely Slovenia. we are both born-again Christians and are living in Slovenia because this is where God has sent us. We belong to one of the 5 evangelical Churches in the country. We would be travelling as a couple, but may wish to have two friends or family join us sometimes. If you come to stay in our home, you would be welcome to stay a few days before we go, so that we can show you a little of the area.
About Our Home
Spacious open plan home with views over the valleys. Modern, as only 5 years old. Two balconies with comfortable chairs and a terrace for entertaining - we have a summer kitchen in apartment downstairs. House is spacious, but cosy and comfortable. Air-con in downstairs area. We have an entrance room for relaxing and computer. Each bedroom sleeps 2, but bedroom 3 could manage up to 4 if people don't mind 2 mattresses! Shower room upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, DVD. Would be OK for singles, families, couples - all have stayed here!

Our Location
Our home is near the top of a small mountain in a hamlet called Sremic. Sremic is part of the national vineyard trail and we have our own small vineyard too. We have lovely, helpful, friendly neighbours who will want you to try their wines. some of them speak English. It is a popular walking area, so often we see walkers striding past (will often stop for a drink here-very hospitable country!). Nearest town is Krsko, which has good shops and a lovely old town on the river. Good eating places and coffee/bars - all very good prices. Novo Mesto is the town where our Church is and is a lovely old town with much history. We often go to Croatian seaside with friends or shopping in Zagreb. Also day visits to beautiful Bled, Bohinj and the coastal area or Piran, Portoroz. Also we have done day visits to Italy and Austria - both about 1.5hrs away. Roads are very good. You would need a car as we have no buses up the mountain! The trains are very good and run internationally.
