INTRODUCING
We are Chris and Jane, early retirees and snowbirds (we spend winters in our apartment in Spain and summers in UK). Often our 20 year old student son who is studying at university in UK likes to join us.
About Our Home
Our two bedroomed apartment is in a Spanish town in the mountains yet just 5kms from the coastal resort of Mojacar so there is the best of both worlds. It is an ideal location for exploring southern Spain and being in a Spanish town also ideal for immersing in the Spanish culture, yet the resort of Mojacar is close by where most people speak English. The apartment has stunning views of the Cabreros mountains from the two balconies, and 360 degree mountain views from the communal rooftop terrace. All rooms have ceiling fans and there is air conditioning in the lounge/kitchen. There is flat screen television with dvd use, a fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker. One double bed and two singles. There is also a sofa bed but the apartment is best suited to max 4 people. Lift access.

Our Location
Turre is just a short drive to the lovely beaches of Almeria and is situated in the mountains and in the village there is a mountain spring where you can fill up your water containers for free and drink the lovely spring water. If you like resort life then Mojacar is 5kms away. There are several English churches in the area including C of E. Almeria airport is 1 hour away, Murcia one and a half hours, and Alicante airport two and a half hours, but all by motorway. There are cave houses in Cuevas nearby, beautiful lakes in Baza, wonderful mountain hideaways and beautiful beaches and quiet coves.

Other Comments
There is no pool but use of a pool at a restaurant just 2 minutes drive up the road where you can use the pool and sunbeds for the price of a drink or a meal. Also the lovely beach and sea at Mojacar is just 5kms away. We return to UK around April until around end September to spend time with family and friends and hope for a long term exchange for as long as possible during that time, the whole period would be perfect for anyone who wants to spend time in Spain, but dates are totally flexible and open to suggestions and can be part of that time.
