INTRODUCING
We are retired teachers. We have been married 39 years. We are committed Christians and do some volunteer work part of the year on Eleuthera, an out island of the Bahamas. Our permanent home is in Manitoba, Canada. Our children are all grown & married. We would be doing the home exchange with just the two of us but may have family members join us for a short time. We would like to visit the North West Lake District, northern England or central England.
About Our Home
Our Bahamian getaway is a 8-10 minute walk to beautiful Rainbow Bay Beach. A 10 minute walk from Hidden Beach. Our cottage is located at a narrow point of the island. Only a 15 minute walk from the Atlantic side to the Caribbean. Our home has 3 bedrooms plus a loft. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. Each of the other bedrooms have double beds. One 4 piece bathroom and one 2 piece bathroom with washing machine, no dryer we normally hang clothes outside. Air conditioned. Open concept kitchen living room.

Our Location
There are 3 beaches within walking distance of our home. Multiple other beaches to drive to. Beaches are beautiful and often you are the only people on the beach. Eleuthera is a very quiet island with a low crime rate. The people are extremely friendly. It is a very laid back island, very people oriented. The church we attend is a 10 minute drive away. The nearest grocery store is a 15 minute drive. Our van would be available for use pending insurance companies agreement. The Bahamas is a British Commonwealth Country and has driving on the left hand side of the road. Various restaurants are a short drive away. Well kept free tennis court for our subdivision less than 5 minutes away (bring your own rackets). Hatchet Bay caves, Queens Bath and The Glass Window Bridge are a short drive away. The island of Eleuthera has only 12,000 people. Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz both have holiday homes on Eleuthera.
