This information is current, it is now beginning August, the summer of 2017. This year, for medical reasons, (after a serious operation the insurance rates are sky high) we will stay in Canada. However, next year in the spring could be a good time to exchange homes in The Netherlands (Holland). WE WOULD APPRECIATE AN EXCHANGE OF THREE WEEKS FROM APRIL 2018 TO JULY 2018. Like to exchange your home for ours, on Vancouver Island B.C. Canada? Our home is one of three - a tri-plex - in a seniors area. We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a large living room attached to the kitchen area. Our house is the end unit with windows on three sides giving lots of natural light. Behind the home is a patio good to sit and enjoy on nice evenings. Although we have two bedrooms, the second bedroom is also used as a den. There is a murphy bed available, and it is queen size. Good for two people if needed. Even though we live in a senior complex, visitors under 55 are always welcome here. I have made some changes to the back of our house, and now have added a small shed, and removed the bushes on the right hand side of the patio. It gives us a more "open" idea of the space we have. We are a seniors and it would best suit a couple with or without one child. Or we can swap with a couple with one child, you do not have to be over 55 years. We live in Saanichton, are close to Victoria, Butchart Gardens, and whale watching in the right season. There is lots to see and do in this area, the summers are warm, and the winters cool. Some winters we have no snow at all. However skiing is available in the winter at Mount Washington, a three hour drive from here, up-island. We do not drink or smoke and no pets. Vancouver Island has quite a variety of climates. From the sometimes rainy seacoast to the dry eastern shores. We have some of the largest trees in Canada, and beautiful lakes. We would like to exchange our home for yours if you are available in the summer or fall of 2017 We prefer to be in Holland later in the year. Dates are negotiable three or four weeks. Four weeks would be the best for us. To save cost on travelling on Vancouver Island, our car is negotiable and we would like the use of yours.
