INTRODUCING
Hi, Don and I, married with 4 adult sons,and now 10 grandchildren, have grown our family on our one acre of country bliss, facing the Te Aroha Mountain where hot mineral spas and various walking and mountain bike tracks delight those who explore the area. We are within 8 minutes drive of two small country towns and very central to main attractions eg 1 hour to coast,Mount Maunganui, Thames, Raglan also Matamata with Hobbiton as the main attraction and Rotorua with the geyserland and Maori village/concerts. The countryside is dotted withdairy cows, alpacas, sheep and grazing beef stock. Our home is a substantial twostorey villa, with 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms/2 living areas with wood fire/ country style kitchen and outdoor living with spa andpool surrounded by garden and views to the mountain. We welcome suggestions re holiday destinations and can also offer upstairs accomodation B & B style, while we are at home. We have two adorable small dogs - who are part of the family also chickens providing free range eggs for your breakfast.
About Our Home
Our two storey home on one acre surrounded by dairy farming, is situated in rural Waikato,P/C 3380 North Island New Zealand, central to many of the main tourist attractions, beaches and main cities. An individual, couple or parents with two children (cot/highchair available) would be very welcome to have exclusive use of the upstairs, with master bedroom and separate bathroom - also two other smaller bedrooms. Downstairs, lounge, kitchen and TV room,bathroom. Charming gardens with summer outdoor pool and barbarque. We are open to swapping time, and happy to have you stay while we are at home and this can be negotiated. Our family are adults now with their own children - and our two little maltese/shitzu dogs think they are the replacements. We also have a barn cat and 5 chooks who produce the most amazing eggs we offer cooked for your breakfast.

Our Location
Central to many of the main tourist attractions, beaches and main cities. With a rental car, easy driving just over half an hour to Hamilton city, one hour to Tauranga and Rotorua, Raglan, one/half hours to Coromandel and 2 hours to Auckland. Three rural towns closeby, cafes art galleries, mineral pools, bush walks as well as Hobbiton 20 minutes away, and much more.
