INTRODUCING
We are a christian couple: Basile (28) and Claire (30), with two children: Joséphine (3) and Emile (almost 2), and a baby girl due in October 2015. We are French, living in Switzerland since 2010, and married since 2007. We are evangelical Christians, members of an english-speaking church called Westlake Lausanne. We are open to suggestions.
About Our Home
We live in a small urban town next to Lausanne (only a few minutes drive to Lausanne city center). This is an apartment at the 3rd floor of a building. There are 3 bedrooms: - one with a queen-size bed - one with a bed that can be adapted for either one person or two (queen-size for two people) + a crib - one with a toddler bed + a crib (probably soon another toddler bed since our boy is growing). This one is a pretty big room, so if adults need to sleep in there, we can probably put mattresses on the floor There are two bathrooms: - one with a shower and toilets - one with a bathtub and toilets The rest of the apartment has: - a spacious living room, with a balcony - a fully equipped kitchen, with a small balcony too (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee machine...) This is a very nice and spacious apartment with lots of day light. We also have a parking spot in the basement. For laundry, we have our own washer/dryer (which is rare in Switzerland) + we can use the building's laundry room on Mondays afternoons. If you have small kids, we have all the needed equipment: cribs, high chairs, changing table and plenty of toys.

Our Location
At the bottom of our building is a small playground area with swings and a slide. And there are lots of other nice playgrounds in the area. There is also a small grocerie store + a post office next to our building. Otherwise, you have larger stores in the area, within a few minutes drive. The closest train station is Renens. It is a 3-minute walk. From there, you can take a train to Lausanne (5 minutes), to Geneva (50 minutes) or to wherever you want in Switzerland. At the train station is also a metro station that take you to the city center in about 15 minutes. Where we live a an urban area, but nature is very close: forest within a few minute walk, nice beaches on lake Geneva are only a 10-minute drive (they are sand beaches, which is great for kids), mountains are also close for hiking or ski in the winter (closest ski station is within a 40-minute drive).

Other activities in the area include: - Nice outdoor swimming pool with lots of slides within a walking distance - Lots of museums - Plenty of restaurants and bars - Lots of green areas (parks along the lake with BBQs available, or forests with walking paths) - thermal baths surrounded by mountains in different locations (between 30-minute to 1-hour drive) - Nice little towns to visit on the lake shore - Vineyards from Lavaux (30-minute drive) with splendid view over the lake - Since Switzerland is quite a small country, you can also visit other towns for day-trips (Geneva, Fribourg, Gruyere where a cheese and a chocolate factory can be visited, Bern, Basel...)
