INTRODUCING
We are a senior couple (65) with two grown children. I'm a civil servant and my wife, Lília, is already retired as public official. Our eldest son, Henrique (40), lives with us and is bearer of autistic disorder. The newest, Tulio (37), is married and has no children. His wife is Renata. So we left on vacations in three or five people. We like read classical and modern literature, listen to classical music & opera, cinema & theater and gardening. I speak a bit of English and French, Lilia speaks well the French and a little English and Italian. We do exchange mainly in Europe, including Russia and in countries of Latin America. Our House is located in the vicinity (18 km) from Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, in the interior of Brazil, near several historic towns of Brazilian Baroque (17TH century).
About Our Home
The House that we offer to Exchange is in a condo 18.5 Km far from Belo Horizonte, As we live in an apartment in Belo Horizonte, and we use this home only on weekends, it is available almost any time of the year, except December and Easter Hollydays. The House: 4 rooms 3 baths (1 with Jacuzzi) 6 guests (maximum 8) There is a external lounge with table tennis, foreign cuisine on the veranda with gas stove, wood stove and barbecue. At backyards we have a vegetable garden and an orchard growing and a lot of flowers and trees.

Our Location
Belo Horizonte is the capital of the State of Minas Gerais and 3th. most important city of Brazil (see map). We are in a region of iron and gold mining and very close (within 100 Km) of 17TH Century historical cities and the largest collection of Baroque Art and Architecture of Brazil. Ouro Preto, for example, is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site (see ahttp://www.ouropreto.org.br/) Our House is 28 Km from Morro do Chapéu Golf Club where, for a small fee, non-members may use their course of 9 holes ( 59 km far from of our House is the Inhotim Cultural Institute with a beautiful botanical garden and a outdoor Museum of Contemporary Art (http://www.inhotim.org.br/).

Other Comments
São Sebastião das Águas Claras is a small village, typical of the interior of Brazil with many bars and restaurants and some waterfalls where residents of Belo Horizonte spend the weekend. On Saturdays and Sundays is very busy, but during the week it is quite calm. The historic towns near our House are: Sabará, Caeté, Santa Bábara, Mariana, OURO PRETO, CONGONHAS, SÃO JOÃO DEL REI and TIRADENTES (see http://goo.gl/maps/mIaXf) with many cultural activities.
