INTRODUCING
Our home is in Havelock North, built in the mid-50s. Husband and wife, 64 and 62, both retired. Children have left home. Exchange considered with husband and wife, no children. Although grownup children without grandchildren coming for a few days or a weekend can be considered. The house is not flash and renovated, but comfortable, warm (free firewood) and with all mod-cons. Things don't match like they used to in the kitchen, some wear and tear on furniture, paintwork etc. But again, it's all there and in working order. Fenced off garden with lots of trees, shrubs, greenery and birds. 5 minute walk to the village with all services. 5 minute drive to the town of Hastings, 20 minute drive to Napier with its Art Deco. We are interested in long weekends, Christmas period,, possibly a 1-2 week holiday. Non-smokers please. We are also interested in doing an exchange of house and cars.
About Our Home
The property is very private, even among other houses. Older style house, contents not the newest, but everything you need is there. Mature couples only, grownup children visiting may be possible. No smokers. Lots of books and videos. Sunny deck, bbq.

Our Location
Just outside small village with all services, 5 mins. walk. Bus to larger town stops across the road. Hill with stunning views on the outskirts of the village, beaches-waterfalls-bushwalks closeby, also day tramp areas.

We live 20 mins. away from Napier, the Art Deco capital of the world. Fantastic Art Deco weekend in early February. We'd be interested in a swap for that. Interested also in swaps of home and car.
