INTRODUCING
Peter (49), Anne (41) and Paul (3) live in the beautiful riverside town of Freiburg im Breisgau (Baden Württemberg, Germany) very close to France and Switzerland. My wife Anne is working as a teacher in a primary school, I am working as a musician (double bass / electric bass) and music teacher in music colleges. We would consider swapping homes in any location ideally during Baden Württemberg summer school holidays: 1st August - 7th September 2014 for 2 weeks.
About Our Home
There are two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice kitchen, a small music room/office (with guitar, basses, electric piano), a cosy living room and a nice terrace with view to the minster of Freiburg. As we have one small child, our home offers an abundance of toys. Right next to the building, there is a playground. The Protestant church Dreisam3 is located only 10 min by foot from our home.

Our Location
In the south-west of the country, it straddles the Dreisam river, at the foot of the Schlossberg. Historically, the city has acted as the hub of the Breisgau region on the western edge of the Black Forest in the Upper Rhine Plain. One of the famous old German university towns, and archiepiscopal seat, Freiburg was incorporated in the early twelfth century and developed into a major commercial, intellectual, and ecclesiastical center of the upper Rhine region. The city is known for its medieval university and minster, as well as for its high standard of living and advanced environmental practices. The city is situated in the heart of a major wine-growing region and serves as the primary tourist entry point to the scenic beauty of the Black Forest. According to meteorological statistics, the city is the sunniest and warmest in Germany and holds the German temperature record of 40.2 °C (104.4 °F).
