INTRODUCING
We do part time discipleship and leading Bible studies with college students and our church is Heritage Baptist Church. We travel mostly solo but we have 3 daughters in late teens, early 20's --one or another of them might possibly be interested in accompanying us at times. I am interested in returning to Switzerland, England, Denmark,. .or New Zealand. . Would love to go to France too, or Quebec, as we'd love to practice our French! House is located in Washington State, U.S.A., on a 5 square mile peninsula of land that is only accessible through Canada. Small town in Canada right by our border is Tsawwassen, British Columbia. The house is bright with surrounding views of lake, marina, and ocean, including the Georgia Strait and San Juan Islands. 2 Story living with Living room, kitchen, half bath, and sun-room/office area upstairs providing maximum access to 360 degrees of beautiful views: From the sun-room see Mount Baker, WA, and the Georgia Strait; from dining room see mountains of West Vancouver, BC and Whistler, BC lights at night; from living room and dining room see views of Gulf and San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island.

Our Location
25 minutes to Richmond, BC and the Vancouver, BC airport; 15 minutes to Tsawwassen, BC Ferry terminal access to Vancouver Island and other island getaways like San Juan Islands (U.S.) Point Roberts is a small peninsula about 13 square km; surrounded on 3 sides by water and 4th is border with BC Canada. Very quiet and peaceful; Point Roberts suits artists and nature lovers, but is close enough to Vancouver (25 minutes to Vancouver, BC International Airport) to please the city lovers in your party, with restaurants, shopping, amazing Asian cuisine in Richmond, BC; Vancouver is truly an international city.

Other Comments
2400 square foot home is about a 5 minute walk from Lighthouse Park, which is on the south side of Point Roberts. Lighthouse Park is a spot where many orca (killer whale) pods are seen going by. The house contains 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, and is an ocean view house, located across the street from the beach. The house has beach rights. House is also on a small lake which allows swimmers and boating (no motors). There is a row boat behind the house for you to take out on the lake, with life jackets in the foyer closet. Honda Odyssey van but checked and can only use it around the Point from we could understand from the Can/U.S. border guards. Keep your speed down to 25 miles per hour where posted, as Point Robert's sheriff has very little to occupy his time with--with the border protecting the Point, not many troublemakers decide to visit! As mentioned, the beach is right across the street, with a private beach access way we can direct you to for your use. We and our guests have seen orca pods go through the Strait from the living room windows of the house (binoculars are in the house). . and there are usually killdeer birds nesting in the yard, or heron or bald eagles to watch--just depends on what time of year you come. Sometimes there will be otters in the lake behind the house, and always ducks and other waterfowl. Blackberries are in season in August and September and are all over the Point, even some in the yard! Be prepared, if you visit the Point, you will probably want to move here for good! *(Note: no smoking home; no pets)
