INTRODUCING

We are Ian and Linda Drake, happily retired teachers living in Cheltenham, England - the centre of the glorious Cotswold hills and many cultural events including music, folk, science, literary festivals. We have exchanged now for several years and met some wonderful Christians some of whom have become good friends. There are just the two of us and we live in a quietly situated three bedroom semi just outside of the town. Our last exchange was with a lovely family from Canada. As we have relations and friends in Australia and N.Z. we are not averse to long distant exchanges. Together we enjoy walking and Ian has a love of most things sporting.

About Our Home

A family friendly home. It is not large but has the three bedrooms. The house is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including cable TV for sports fans etc.

Our Location

The location of our home is an ideal base for exploring wonderful countryside and many and various excursions to popular tourist places. Cheltenham is famous for its Racecourse and its festivals which include, Music, Folk and Jazz, Science, Literature and Food and drink. There are good theatres in the town. Further afield are Birmingham and Bristol, both wonderful places in their own right and about 45 miles away. London is approx 110 miles away. Just across the park from us is a fully equipped Leasure complex and athletics track, boating lake and amazing play park for youngsters. If you like eating out you are spoilt for choice.
