INTRODUCING
Hello, we have been married for 27 years and have 4 children all grown but one who is finishing up high school. My husband is the president of New York City Relief, a non-profit ministry that helps the homeless throughout NYC. www.newyorkcityrelief.org I used to be a pastor but now am a homemaker. We have done missions all over the world: Africa, Mexico, Philipines, Haiti, Europe, South America, and more. We attend www.liquidchurch.com and used to list our house on Airbnb as we have a really special cabin that is very cozy and has beautiful views. We are just 40 min. drive to all the attractions of NYC (just 25 miles away) yet we are in the quiet peaceful hills of nature. We are just 1-hour drive to great beaches, 1-hour drive to skiing /snowboarding/tubing and 1 1/2 hour drive to Philadelphia, and river rafting and paintballing in the Poconos. It is the perfect home for a larger family who would like to take Day trips to NYC, the beach, the mountains, and Philadelphia. We have 6 bedrooms and can sleep 9. More using a mattress on the floor, porta-crib or the two sofas. We do not allow parties as that has proved to be a bad idea for us and for our neighbors. We have tons of board games, video games, musical instruments, Giant Jenga, Giant Checkers, Corn Hole, Pickle Ball, Can Jam, and more. People say our house feels like a quiet retreat and enjoy the whimsy of our fun decor. Our home overlooks an apple and peach orchard and a national park with views that go on for miles from many of the rooms. We have 2 Kayaks to go on the local river where there is a launch at the bottom of the hill. The Train station is also located just 5 minutes from our home that will take you into NYC if you prefer to "train" instead of drive and park.
About Our Home
Great for a family. Cozy Cabin with 6 bedrooms. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Views of a National Park and Apple & Peach Orchard called Hillview Farms. Quiet country neighborhood with hiking trails and river close by. Starbucks, restaurants, train to NYC just 5 minutes away. Drive to NYC in 40 minutes for a wonderful day trip. Drive to the beach in 1 hour for a full day in the sun. Drive to the snow resorts in 1 hour for family fun. A peaceful world away home that looks small from the outside but has loads of space for everyone and then more. Hammocks, firepit that seats 10 and tons of indoor and outdoor games and activities here at the house and within a short drive to anything you could imagine to do with your family.

Our Location
We live up a windy road on top of a hill with lots of large trees. We have a nice back and front yard. We have neighbors, but not too close so no blinds needed on the windows, it is a private lot with pretty views. We have 2 kayaks that can be used at the river launch just at the bottom of our hill and a keyboard and guitar and drums to play. We have ping pong, video games, dvds, netflix, internet, cable, amazon prime videos, can jam, giant Jenga, record player, board games, pickle ball court, corn hole, and more! Fireplace in the kitchen with a cozy chair for two! Two ovens and a 6 burner stove for big meals. A kitchen island that seats 5 in addition to the Farmhouse dining table that can seat up to 10 or 12.
