Hello! We are Neil and Netta. There are usually just the two of us living at home these days, as our adult children have moved on with their lives.

About Our Home

It is situated in a large sloping woodland-type garden which changes with the seasons. A patio and deck adjoin the house. We enjoy the abundant bird-life, bellbirds, tuis, wood-pidgeons [Kereru], shining cuckoo, and fantails amongst the bush.

Our Location

Located in a quiet, leafy suburb it is however on a tourist route to many natural history tourist attractions, the most famous being the Royal Albatross and Yellow-Eyed Penguin colonies. Churches, beaches, the city centre, restaurants, parks and gardens, museums, movies, library, public hiking tracks, are all within 10 minutes by road. Public transport is 800 metres away. There are many parks and reserves for picnicing in Dunedin, and numerous walking tracks around the Otago Peninsula. Larnach C

Regarding future holiday options - we are able to exchange during the New Zealand School holidays, so that would be January, April, July, October, and December with the possibility of short stays within New Zealand as well. We are open to long weekend stays within NZ. We don’t have a TV, but there are lots of games and books. We prefer to arrange something well in advance, to have time to save and plan for it, and to look forward to the holiday. We have organised our own exchanges in the past, t
