INTRODUCING
We are a middle aged couple (Bill & Jackie) whose family have all left home and are ready to see the world. Our Christian faith is at the centre of our lives and our marriage. We have a large home in the southern most suburb of Wellington, Island Bay, just a short stroll to the south coast.
About Our Home
Our home is large and spacious with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is two storey house with high ceilings, a wrap around deck, large lawn area and a separate patio entertaining area at the rear of the house. The backyard is kid friendly with a trampoline and small playhouse. Enjoy a wine on the front deck and watch the setting sun. All doors and finishings are native timbers. The floors are carpeted, except for the kitchen/dining/laundry and bathrooms. This house has an internal lift and disabled bathroom.

Our Location
Our home is located in Island Bay, the southern most suburb of Wellington. Our home is a short stroll to the south coast, local cafes and restaurants (both dine in and take away), a supermarket and local boutique movie theatre. The bus service into the CBD is excellent with buses running every 10-15 minutes. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk from our home.

Other Comments
We are surrounded by hills which have lovely walking tracks. Wellington in the capital city of NZ. We have many lovely sights to see - The Museum of NZ Te Papa, a local zoo, world famous Zealandia predator-free bird sanctuary, cable car to the botanical gardens, lovely walks along the harbour and foreshore. Wellington is the starting point for further travelling to the South Island. You can catch the ferry (3.5 hours) to the South Island.
